Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of webthela.com and the free website launch offer. By signing in or submitting a claim, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The free website offer
- The launch offer covers a 5-page informational website (typically Home, About, Services, Gallery, Contact) for up to 100 verified businesses, at no charge for the build.
- Domain and hosting are not included unless separately arranged (usually at cost). E-commerce, booking systems, and other custom features are paid add-ons quoted separately.
- One free claim per Google account. We may reject duplicates, incomplete applications, or applications we cannot verify.
- Approval is not guaranteed. Submission only places you in the review queue.
2. Eligibility and verification
You must be able to represent a real business (or legitimate activity we can verify). You agree that information you provide — including full legal name, optional government ID number, and ownership/address proof — is accurate and that you have the right to share those documents. False or misleading information may result in rejection and removal from the offer.
3. Your responsibilities
- Provide content, logos, and feedback in a reasonable timeframe so we can build.
- Keep your contact email reachable for updates about your claim.
- Do not abuse the offer (e.g. mass fake accounts, reselling free slots).
- Comply with applicable law in the content and use of your website.
4. Our responsibilities
After approval, we will design and develop the agreed free-tier site and hand over access when ready. Timelines are estimates (often about a week after approval and content delivery). We may pause or end the free offer once 100 slots are filled or if we cannot deliver quality at that scale.
5. Intellectual property
After handover of your free website, you own the site content and the deliverable as agreed for your project. Webthela retains rights to our tools, templates, and the Webthela brand. You grant us a limited licence to use your business name and publicly shareable screenshots of the finished site in our portfolio unless you ask us in writing not to.
6. Paid work
Quotes for add-ons (e.g. e-commerce) are separate. No paid work starts without clear agreement on scope and price. The free 5-page site is not contingent on buying add-ons.
7. Privacy
How we handle personal and verification data is described in our Privacy Policy. By submitting a claim you also accept that policy.
8. Disclaimers
The free offer is provided as-is. We do not guarantee search rankings, sales results, or uninterrupted hosting (especially when you use your own domain/host). To the fullest extent permitted by law, Webthela is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site or the free offer.
9. Termination
We may refuse or terminate access for abuse, fraud, or breach of these Terms. You may stop using the service at any time; request deletion of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. The date at the top will change when we do. Material changes for active customers will be communicated where practical (e.g. by email).
